Seminary Graduation Crystal Apple Award Recipients

The Folsom Stake recognized graduating seniors and Crystal Apple award recipients at Seminary Graduation held on May 19th at the Scholar Way Building. Over 60 seniors received their diplomas from their Bishops and Young Women Presidents and were congratulated by their seminary teachers.

The Stake also honored four teachers, one from each high school in the Folsom Stake, for their exemplary service and dedication.  These teachers were selected by the graduating seniors as mentors that inspired and positively influenced them during their high school years. These teachers are:  Natalie Gillen from Folsom High School, Kyle Landes from Vista High School, Dann Lealos from Oak Ridge High School, and David Mendoza from John Adams Academy.

President Hodson concluded the meeting by reminding the seniors that graduating from seminary is the end of one milestone but the beginning of their life-long journey to build their testimony of the Savior. He encouraged seniors to make the decision to build on the foundation that seminary provided and deepen their knowledge of and their relationship with Jesus Christ.
